Costello staff members have extensive experience in providing infrastructure improvements for municipalities in the Greater Houston Region. We understand the importance of attention to the project budget throughout various phases of a project. Our clients are charged with protecting the public’s money on capital improvement projects and we continually strive to find alternatives that are cost effective. For that reason, we look closely at both life-cycle costs and upfront costs for a project.
OUR MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING SERVICES ENCOMPASS THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES:
Our Municipal Services team has provided services to numerous entities including Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, Galveston, and Montgomery Counties; the cities of Houston, Missouri City, Baytown, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Rosenberg, Pasadena, Pearland, and Texas City; and the following water authorities: NFBWA, NHCRWA and WHCRWA.
These Public Works projects have included water transmission and distribution lines, sanitary collection facilities, neighborhood street reconstruction/widening/ rehabilitation, grade separations, and drainage/flood control facilities. Services for these projects have included feasibility studies, alternative analysis, hydraulic analyses, and the design of streets, utilities, traffic control, bridges, utility relocations, and sidewalks. Costello assists in the permitting process with regulatory agencies, with utility coordination and relocation, and with public education/involvement meetings. We work with specialty consultants, such as environmental scientists, geotechnical engineers, and urban foresters to offer a complete project team that meets the needs of the client.
