FM 1960 is a roadway widening and improvement project to enhance traffic operations at the intersection of FM 1960 and Eldridge Parkway. Project services included:

  • Existing: 3-thru lanes on FM 1960 each way and 2-thru lanes on Eldridge each way with one left and one right turn lane at the intersection.
  • Proposed: 4-thru lanes on FM 1960 each way and 3-thru lanes on Eldridge each was with one left and one right turn lane at the intersection.
  • 17 utility owners and 71 conflict locations were identified within the project limits.
  • QLD-QLA was performed.
  • ROW was acquired for the project.
Utility relocations were challenging due to delays with right-of-way acquisition.
