Promoted to Project Manager

Keith Mahon, P.E. has been promoted to Project Manager in the Transportation Division.  Mr. Mahon has over 20 years of experience in providing engineering and analysis to state highway departments and municipalities.  He has been involved in projects entailing highway geometrics and design, drainage design, roadway illumination design, traffic study analysis for signal design, schematic analysis, preliminary and final engineering studies, and preparing and reviewing PS&E’s. Mr. Mahon has also been responsible for management of design for detention ponds, storm sewer systems and management of construction phase services.  His experience includes two years with the TxDOT Traffic Operations Division in Austin and one year in the TxDOT East Harris County area office with the Roadway Design Section.

 

Alex Khoshakhlagh, P.E. has been promoted to Project Manager in the Land Development Division. Mr. Khoshakhlagh has over 17 years of civil engineering experience in the areas of municipal, transportation, and land development.  He has designed the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and paving improvements for various-sized subdivisions within both Fort Bend and Harris Counties.  His experience also includes lot grading, preparation of storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), preparation of project manual and bid documents, obtaining plan approvals, coordination with CenterPoint Energy, and close coordination with the contractors and the clients to ensure the projects are delivered with quality and least amount of time as possible.  Prior to his employment with Costello, Inc., Mr. Khoshakhlagh worked on numerous neighborhood street reconstruction projects for the City of Houston.

 

Chad Hartmann, P.E. has been promoted to Project Manager in the Land Development Division. Mr. has 9 years of civil engineering experience focused primarily on residential land development and municipal utility district engineering.  His responsibilities have included the design of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, drainage, wastewater facilities, paving improvements and appurtenances, as well as the preparation of multiple engineering analyses and reports.  Mr. Hartmann has also been responsible for preparation of cost estimates, contract documents, construction plans, and construction phase services.
