Accounting Clerk I

Minimum Requirement:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of administrative and clerical work for the Accounting Department, assisting in the Billing, Accounts Payable, Expense Report, and Payment Processing areas.
  • Under general supervision, perform a variety of routine accounting duties in accordance with standard accounting procedures. Checks and verifies data for completeness and accuracy; work is often quantitative in nature, typically using computerized data management and analysis systems.
  • Specialize in Accounts Payable and payment processing, data entry for all vendors and journal entries, and handle billing for a selection of project managers.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with other staff members, clients, and vendors.

 

Computer Tech Land Development

Minimum Requirement:

  • High school diploma and basic drafting/CAD training
  • Good math skills
  • Knows graphic solutions to problems

Responsibilities:

  • Performs computer aided drafting (CAD) work, including developmental assignments involving the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine drafting tasks in support for assigned projects.
  • Develops progressively from entry-level assignments to more complex assignments, demonstrating the ability to independently perform CAD assignments with clear and specified objectives, and the ability to perform routine design calculation
  • Communicate effectively with other staff and project team members

 

Computer Tech Water/Wastewater

  • Engineering degree
  • Professional Engineering license preferred but will consider Engineer-in-Training with good experience record
  • 5 years experience in design of electrical power and controls
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code is a plus
  • Resume Requirement: Include description of design experience and specific examples of project types

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Electrical PM in conceptualizing the initial design approach and has overall responsibility for the engineering work on all assigned projects
  • Perform work involving the application of engineering principles and practices associated with electrical engineering, including electrical power and controls
  • Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and others. Attend project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments
  • Supervise/QC work of assigned support personnel

 

Electrical Project Manager

Minimum Requirement:

  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • 10 years experience in design of electrical power and controls
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work involving the application of a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas; uses advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines
  • Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design approach for large or complex projects and has overall responsibility for the engineering work on all assigned projects
  • Plans, conducts, or directs large engineering projects or a number of smaller projects with complex features.
  • Supervises assigned engineering and support personnel
  • Possesses advanced oral and written communication skills; regularly represents the company and makes presentations on its behalf
  • Routinely interacts with clients, officials, etc.; represents the company and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations
  • Prepares budgets, schedules, proposals for engineering services, and engineering services agreements

 

Plat Coordinator

Minimum Requirement:

  • High school diploma or technical school training with courses in CAD or equivalent experience
  • Thorough knowledge of platting/planning in the Greater of Houston area
  • 7+ years’ experience in the subdivision platting
  • Capable of handling all aspects related to preliminary and final plat submittals and plat recordation
  • Experience in dealing with multiple cities and counties in the Greater Houston area
  • Microstation experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work involving application, submission, coordination, and completion of subdivision plats and planned development approvals.
  • Exercise judgement in the independent review of subdivision plats, site plats, and land plans
  • Ensure finished products comply with applicable rules and regulations
  • Ability to prepare formal variance requests from rules and regulations of municipalities
  • Provide guidance for platting technicians to complete tasks in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Prepare Joint Referral Committee Applications
  • Coordinate with the City of Houston regarding the abandonment process
  • Prepare utility capacity reservation letters and coordinate with City of Houston staff

 

Utility Coordinator (Houston or Austin office)

Minimum Requirement:

  • High school diploma and basic drafting/CAD training
  • Experience and proficiency in detail design work
  • 5+ years of progressive drafting and design experience

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the relocation and installation of private and public utility systems such as electric, pipelines, telecommunication, water, sewer, and drainage, is needed in our Utility Group.
  • Strong use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word
  • Strong scheduling and communication skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation and other relevant engineering and administrative software
  • Overall coordination of utility adjustment process for roadway and utility improvement projects
  • Assists with design activities by attending meetings, reviewing documents, coordinating activities, ensuring all parties receive and review ongoing information, facilitating site visits, improving coordination, and identifying right-of-way easements.
  • Research prior rights issues and franchise agreement issues
  • Utility records research
  • Utility permitting (preparation and submittal)
  • Prepare Utility Agreement Assemblies (complete including forms, Track and monitor progress of the permitting and relocation efforts, Prepare Joint Use Agreements).
  • Prepare and/or verifying Record (As-built) drawings
  • Prepare invoices with all required back-up for submittal to governmental agency for reimbursement to Utility

 

Utility Designer (Houston or Austin office)

Minimum Requirement:

  • High school diploma and basic drafting/CAD training
  • Experience and proficiency in detail design work
  • 5+ years of progressive drafting and design experience

Responsibilities:

  • Performs computer aided drafting and design (CADD) work, including preparation of construction drawings and both routine and non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity; work may involve areas lacking precedent.
  • Responsible for conceptualizing and preparing the design for assigned projects based on objectives and requirements outlined by the engineer; independently performs design assignments with clear and specified objectives.
  • Acts in lead role with other designers and/or drafters on an assignment basis
  • Communicates effectively with other staff and project team members; interacts with reviewing agencies in coordination or project approvals

 

Utility Engineering Project Manager (Houston or Austin office)

Minimum Requirement:

  • Performs work involving the application of engineering principles and practices associated with utility engineering, including creating utility base maps,performing utility conflict analysis and maintaining conflict matrix, and provide relocation design plans and permitting services
  • Plans, conducts, or directs a number of smaller projects
  • Supervises/ QC work of assigned support personnel
  • Routinely interacts and maintains good relationships with utility owners
  • Maintain project design schedules as assigned
